“the thrills, the brokenness, the deepest moments
that forge who we are and will be.”

Walking through a desolate, beautiful canvas, he seeks inspiration to write a “Love Song.”  Not a romantic song, but a song about the human experience. The thrills, the brokenness, the deepest moments that forge who we are and will be.   As he quietly sings to himself, tides of memory breach the shore. Recalling a moment of incredible joy that makes him smile; and then an echo of deep loss that catches his breath.

While memories wash over him a realization begins to bloom. He recognizes that love colors all of his memories, no matter how wonderful or how tragic. Love was present through his joy and love walked him through his pain. A lung filling breath. Love was there the whole time.
